Progress Toward Building the South Anchorage Food Pantry
Helping our neighbors who are challenged to put healthy food on their tables is at the core of our work. That is why we are constructing a Life Center on O’Malley, which will include a new food pantry for South Anchorage.
We want to stress that despite some delays in construction, our commitment to this project is firm, and we are making progress. We will be breaking ground once the new construction season starts.

We hope the information below will answer any questions or concerns
that may exist about the project. We also have kept the Anchorage Assembly informed as we continue our work.
REVIVE ALASKA NEVER STOPPED BUILDING THE SOUTH ANCHORAGE FOOD PANTRY

2022 CONSTRUCTION DELAYED BY O'MALLEY ROAD EXPANSION AND PERMANENT CLOSURE OF PROPERTY DRIVEWAY
The Alaska DOT embarked on the construction of the O’Malley Road expansion east of Lake Otis Parkway spring through fall 2022. The South Anchorage food pantry property was directly impacted. The major driveway was permanently closed. A new driveway off Our Rd. was constructed and the address was changed.
