WAYS YOU CAN HELP

The Alaska Child in Transition Program gift cards could be donated by a person, family, or organization. We appreciate your kindness and willingness to be the answered prayer to Alaskan children in transition. Our goal is to support 950 families across Alaska School Districts. We have three ways that you can help us reach this goal.
-
You may buy and mail the gift cards directly to the families through the Alaska School District contact persons.
-
Make a designated and secure donation on this website. Monetary donations will be used to purchase gift cards and will be sent to families of the Child-in-Transition Program.
-
You may give more than just a one-time donation by becoming a monthly sponsor. This will allow families to receive continuous monthly support.
-
How can I ensure that the child/family I sponsored receives the gift cards? The gift cards are routed through the school districts and can be confirmed through the contact person for the program in each district.
-
Instead of donating through the website, may I send a check for the purchase of the gift cards?"Yes, you can send the checks directly to the school district that you are sponsoring or you can mail a check directly to us to distribute the check to the preferred source at P.O. Box 231568 Anchorage, AK 99523
-
Can I directly connect with the child/family I sponsored?Unfortunately, due to privacy restrictions, Alaska school districts are unable to release the information of the child or families.
-
Is there a limitation on the number of children/families I can help?Although the minimum gift card amount is $50, there is no limit to the number of gift cards you can purchase to help a family.
-
Will there be any restrictions on the types of goods that can be purchased with these cards? These cards strictly prohibit the purchase of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, nor can they be used for the lottery.
-
Can these cards be resold for their cash value?According to the terms and conditions of these cards, they cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
